The sound of "mamegasi" is born from the skill of our artisans at Fujiya Seika Honpo. They delicately inflate the dough to create the light texture of "mamegasi," infusing it with air to produce its rhythmic melody.
The rich hues of "mamegasi" - green, purple, vibrant yellow - all derived from natural ingredients. Free from synthetic dyes and preservatives, "mamegasi" is a treat even for vegans. These colors are also a testament to the dedication of our artisans.

We established ourselves in 1913 as Fujiya Seika Honpo. The name 'Fujiya' comes from the famous 'Mount Fuji,' boasting the highest peak in Japan.
We craft the traditional Japanese confectionery known as 'mamegasi.' Until now, 'mamegasi' has seen little exportation to Western markets due to its artisanal, handcrafted nature, which doesn't lend itself to mass production.
In Japan, we relish 'mamegasi' with all five senses. We take pleasure not only in its taste, color, and texture but also in the sound it makes when bitten and the texture when touched by hand. 'Mamegasi' is an integral part of our lives.
Now, Fujiya Seika Honpo proudly introduces the world to the traditional Japanese confectionery 'mamegasi.'
Just like us, we hope people worldwide can enjoy a life enriched by 'mamegasi'
